Just hearing the word “brain injury” can be scary and frightening for the person who has been wounded and his family. Many people associate the words with mental retardation or mental illness. It’s different.

Research and scientific studies are conducted to find the medication and treatment for tinnitus. Some of these medicines are outlined below along with their advantages and disadvantages.
Anxiety medications, drugs used to treat anxiety disorder such as Valium or Xanax are found to be effective in treating tinnitus. These medications can also be used in conjunction with anticonvulsant medications as a result of a significant decrease in the sounds. Fighters glutamate glutamates are substances released by damaged hair. This substance is a neurotransmitter that is known to react to the nerve cells that cause the ringing sound. Large amounts of this substance in the body leading to damage to the brain due to abnormal neurotransmitter activity. Thus, a drug that acts as natural glutamate antagonists will be able to protect the brain from damage and effective treatment of tinnitus. The disadvantage is that these drugs were found to contain hallucinogenic components.
